Lurie College of Education alumni are invited to attend a special "Hats off to Teachers" day in connection with Homecoming! Gather with fellow educators from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Fan Fiesta Lot (near the 10th Street gate) for a tailgate gathering and then cheer on the team against UC Davis. Tickets are $20 and include both the tailgate and football game - with reserved seating for our attendees! Purchase tickets online.

About the Board:
Looking to stay connected with former colleagues and professionals but don't know how? Then San Jose State University's College of Education Alumni Board activities are for YOU! We have a series of interesting and fun activities slated for this spring and fall that are sure to get you back into the ol' school spirit along with a chance to refresh and reconnect with your education friends and colleagues. The first activity is planned for May 27, 2010 at the San Jose History Park One Room Schoolhouse. A reception honoring not only retiring teachers from many of the local districts but awarding scholarships for promising teacher candidates going into the education field.
Additional activities already planned include the very popular "Classes without Quizzes" hosted in conjunction with the SJSU Alumni Association during Homecoming Week and the annual "Hats off to Teachers" tailgate party and football game to be held October 2. Getting in touch is as easy as point, click, read with all information located at the SJSU Alumni Association website, www.sjsualumni.com/education just look for the College of Education link under the "Connect" tab.
