Classes Without Quizzes: Presentation Submission
Who?
If you have a passion or are passionate about what you do, the Alumni Association is recruiting dynamic presenters for this year’s Classes without Quizzes. This event is an opportunity to showcase your talent, creativity and outside interests to SJSU alumni, friends and the community.
What?
The kick-off event for homecoming week, alumni, friends of the university and the community are invited to attend classes presented by SJSU’s best and brightest faculty, staff and alumni. Whether it be salsa dancing or an in depth look at dinosaurs, this event is designed to highlight your knowledge and enthusiasm, so be creative.
When?
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:20 on Saturday, September 25; a picnic lunch for all attendees and presenters will follow. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. followed by of three 50 minute sessions (9:30 – 10:20 a.m., 10:30 – 11:20 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.). If you would like to present more than one session, please fill out a separate form for each session.
Why?
Have your recently published a book? Are you conducting any new research? Are you passionate about what you do? This is a great opportunity to showcase your specialties; last year event had over 300 attendees! Also, this is a great way to show your Spartan Pride!
Submission Procedures:
- Complete the form below by Friday, May 14.
- Presenters will be notified of their selection to participate by Friday, May 28.
- Welcome packets, including: Classroom assignments, presentation times and additional instructions will be sent to presenters by Thursday, September 23.
- Classes Without Quizzes! Saturday, September 25.
